Driving UX Excellence: My Impact
While at Citi, I played a pivotal role as a key member of the Digital Design Library team. Together, we spearheaded the creation of new UI components and UX patterns that became integral to the company's global design system. Our efforts significantly enhanced the consistency and usability of Citi's digital products. Additionally, I took charge of the crucial task of updating existing flows to meet ADA compliance, ensuring that our designs were inclusive and accessible to all users. In 2018 Citi was given a timeline to update all existing flows across the brand by the end of the year or it was facing astronomical fines. By doing so we saved the company a lot of money. As a result my contributions were instrumental in shaping the user experience and driving positive outcomes for Citi's digital initiatives.
Designing Behind Closed Doors: Confidentiality and Project Security
Fairly early on I encountered the unique challenge of working with highly confidential and time-sensitive financial information. Due to the nature of the industry and the importance of maintaining strict confidentiality, I am unable to showcase full user flows on my portfolio. However, I gained invaluable experience in designing within a secure and regulated environment, ensuring data privacy and compliance with industry standards. My ability to navigate these complexities while delivering exceptional user experiences demonstrates my adaptability and commitment to upholding the highest standards of confidentiality in sensitive projects.
